SERVICE
A full-property mitigation pass — every zone, every structure, every corner of the lot — built to the standard that qualifies your home for a Wildfire Defense Certificate.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
WHY GO ALL THE WAY
A single cleared zone can still leave your home exposed if the rest of the property hasn't been addressed. A Property Reset treats the whole lot as one system, so there's no untouched corner left to carry a fire to your door.
Low branches, brush, and dead material that let ground fire climb into tree canopies get identified and removed across the entire property, not a single side of the house.
We shape vegetation-free and vegetation-reduced zones around every structure on the lot, so the whole property has room to survive an approaching fire.
Because most homes ignite from wind-driven embers, not direct flame contact, we address what's collecting near roof lines, vents, and structures everywhere on the property — not just the areas that are easiest to see.
HOW WE WORK
Every property is different — lot size, terrain, vegetation type, and how close your home sits to open land all change what a mitigation plan looks like. We start with a Wildfire Risk Report to identify your specific risk factors, then scope the work needed. If your lot hasn't been touched in years, or the whole property needs to be brought up to standard, that full-scope work is a Property Reset.
Once the work is done, most properties benefit from staying on our Wildfire Defense Program, with annual or year-round protection plans — vegetation grows back, and defensible space is only effective if it's kept up.
WHAT ABOUT FIRE MITIGATION & DEFENSIBLE SPACE?
Fire Mitigation & Defensible Space is real, effective work: clearing dead and dry vegetation, correcting ladder fuels, and building defensible space in a targeted zone — near the house, along a fence line, in one problem area of the lot. It measurably reduces risk, and it's a great option if your budget or your property's needs call for a smaller, focused scope.
What it isn't is a full Property Reset. Because it addresses part of the property rather than every zone, a standalone Fire Mitigation & Defensible Space job does not by itself qualify a home for a Wildfire Defense Certificate — that certification is reserved for properties that have completed a full, property-wide reset. If certification is your goal, a Property Reset is the scope of work to ask for.
